frosty the snowman [15 Oct 2002|12:14pm] [ mood | creative ] [ music | "kill me quickly" - thrice ] hello. it is true. i cannot just let go of my livejournal. brendan, you are correct. anyway, this weekend was fun. on friday and saturday i saw movies and slept and talked to dustin. and then more on saturday i went to my cousin's bar mitzvah at suny, and he had a way cool party at his house, where there were lots of famous people, and i got to meet ridley scott and ben affleck and josh hartnett and 10 bajillion other people. then on sunday, laney and i went to moma, and then ps1. with that weird washing-dead-bodies-vapor-room. it was cool, and we drove back to port washington, and she got her stuff and slept over. on monday was camp reunion day. it was kinda random. we called mer, and we walked to her house. then we went to hunan and ate chinese food. and then we went to the trainstation and met chelsea (yay!) and then we visited katie at her house. then laney went home (=() and me mer and chelsea spent a really long time desciding what to do, and just ended up walking around mamaroneck. the highlight of that day would have to be "cheese panties". muahah. anyway, it was good to see all these way hella kickin kiddies again, it made me happy. then matt called me and preceeded to sing to me, his own rendition of "frosty the snowman" as "chelsea the loose woman". [23 Sep 2002|10:13pm] [ mood | creative ] [ music | "le fabuleux destin" - yann tiersen ] i spent like 10 hours today making a collage of all these pictures i cut out of my old magazines and film strips. it's a giant mural of color, from far away it looks like a painting. it's pretty cool. the film strips are around the edges, my uncle gave them to me from an old reel he never used. prettyyy cool. filming starts in 3 weeks, and from then on its 9 hours a day of intensive filming. i'm semi excited, semi scared. what if my stage fright kicks in? eh, whatever. have parted ways, said, "we're not going to protect this heart you have"

[22 Sep 2002|10:25pm] [ mood | sad ] [ music | "tell him" - benton falls ] the tears don't stop sometimes. my parents make me feel so down on myself, and i just curl up into a little ball and cry for a long time. the only thing that makes me happy is dustin and he's so far away. and its only two months till i move, but that feels like eternity from where i sit right now. theres blisters on my finger tips from pouring out my heart to my acoustic guitar, and the strings are rusting from the tears that fall so frequently. my throat hurts, i haven't eaten in at least two days, and i find solace in people talking and their words just going by my blurred eyes. does anyone really want to get to know the real me? * i did ballet for so long. since i was 2. i can stand on the tips of my toes, still. today i held on to my ballet bar, and did all the positions, and closed my eyes. pretended i was the prima ballerina. pretended my long hair was in a bun, and my leotard was crisp and new, and all those people clapping were for me. the roses were almost real, i could smell them, the clear plastic crinkling on my fingers. then i opened my eyes again. i was in the damp, dark, basement, with a makeshift ballet bar. yet, for that one second in time, it felt ok. * i decided what i'm going to do. next year i'm going to school in paris, and then i'm going to apply to an arts college on the west coast. majoring in screenwriting and directing. minoring in film editing. * everyone is bailing on me. the people i thought would always be there... arent there anymore. my friends became strangers in such a short period of time. my heart beats differently now, skipping the x's and o's so casually thrown to waste. you did matter, you know. * somedays you feel on top of the world. but the others, you can't be too sure you'll make it through the night. * 5 ribs| have parted ways, said, "we're not going to protect this heart you have"

[29 Aug 2002|02:17pm] [ mood | giddy ] [ music | mighty mighty bosstonessssssss ] hey hey. i know its been a long time since i've updated - i just realized everyone who reads this, hates me. therefore - i stopped writing. but for anyone that does care, which is probably nobody, i just got back from finishing my tour of the north east beaches. thats right. i spent the end of my summer in cape cod, nantucket, marthas vineyard, newport, the hamptons, and montauk. i also have been playing a lot of guitar and watching many foreign movies, cause my uncle said if i watched all these movies he'd take me to sundance. which rocks, cause he presents awards, and i'd get to meet people.. *sigh*. anyway. today i had another audition, so hopefully i'll get the part, and i'll be way happy. that'd be cool.
